So, I've figured out the problem of why I don't really post here anymore. It all has to do with me hating retelling stories. I've been telling my stories to Mike first, then whoever else might be interested. Or I put it up on twitter. Or tumblr. And by the time I get to LJ, I don't care as much anymore & there's no one really left to tell.

So...be happy that Mike isn't online tonight? (where IS he anyway?)
We are all around you, even if you can't see us. Well, okay, we're not exactly invisible )

This being this whole post on LJ thing. You know why? Because my life is boring & tiring. I am really tired now. I almost fell asleep in my classes today! Kristen was nice enough to wake me up in theology--love her! Also, Dominique seems to think it is strange that I was going to tell Kristen I love her for that. I do stuff like this all the time! And she should get used to it, because I love Dominique too, even if she didn't try to keep me awake in comm or chem.

So yes, I am making friends, kinda. I hang out with Dominique sometimes in the cafeteria for lunch, but other than that, I have yet to be with anyone outside of class. Oh, except for the comm open house, which was a lot of fun! I hope I see Velvet again around campus, she was really nice.
Next Friday is the Comm field trip downtown, so I'll get to hang out with Dominique, Camille, & Jen! That'll be fun. I'm going to offer to drive all of them to the train station. I think they all live on campus & I know Jen doesn't have a car (she asked me to drive her to the village the other day, but I couldn't. Sadface.) and this will save on gas. And if they don't want to, that's fine because the station is about 1/3rd of the way to my house. But yeah, the trip down there should be a lot of fun :D

You all should go here and watch episode 1 of Monsters Anonymous, a cool webshow created by my friends Joe ([info]rolandflakfizer) and Vince, with Ray & I doing some voice over guest star work! Whoo! So yes, you can hear me heckle people if you go to that link. Please do!

I met E. Lockhart on Wednesday. She's really nice and signed my shiny new copy of Disreputable History. And Jan at Anderson's gave me her business card so I can send her my info. I'm going to be her official teen reader for author events (like going out to dinner with them) and such, so that's really cool.

There, you got an update on my life! And good stuff too! Not me complaining about people like I thought about doing.

+ got to school not just on time but EARLY. OMG.
+ Started off my day by watching part of X3 on tv while eating waffles. Yum!
+ Jammed to Chameleon Circuit on the way to school
+ Worked on my novel during my narrative class (and still paid attention! go me!)
+ Went to the BBC to drink my coke & eat my gummi butterflies (which are all gone now, sad)
+ Talked to [info]sheismargo on skype :D
+ found out that iTunes 9 lets you share libraries with other people in the area/on your network. There are two girls on here who I want to find & tell them they are my musical soulmate. But I think they are elsewhere on campus.
Srsly, this girl had backyardigans. And "I am not an egg anymore" is the silliest song I have ever heard.

Now I must run off to theology!!

But the good, Christian kind. lol. My school has a strange mascot & I love it!

+ I met with my transfer counsellor today. Ross is fantastic, he answered all my questions very well & clear enough for me to understand. I need to pick up a transcript from JJC to show all my summer classes & get them transferred on over. When I get that done, I'll be counted as a junior! Yay! Which also makes it easier for me to get more aid, should I need it. If I can manage to get a syllabus from Bob for my PR class, I can possibly get that to count for another class at Trinity! Win! And I can set up a swipe card sort of thing instead of a lunch plan, which would be perfect for me. I picked up both my parking pass & my student ID today. I'm official, babe. I also found out how to work with my loan stuff & I just finished all the paperwork for that, so yay me!
I picked up my books too. They were EXPENSIVE. And very heavy.

And OH YEAH. I AM DONE AT JUCO. FOREVERS.

+ Something awesome happened this morning, that I can't say. But uh, #awwww
+ Something extremely nerve-wracking & potentially brimming with awkward was done by one Typeset Jez. And it turned out SPENDTASTICALLY. OMG. Best possible outcome, fo srs.

Argh. Okay, so I'm now short one credit because the school counsellors screwed me over again. My ONLY option is to take piano this fall. I am NOT happy about this entire situation.

New schedule:
Monday: Trinity 8-2:20; JJC (MCD, yuck!) 6:30-8:30
Tuesday: Work @ JC 8-12; Trinity 4-7 (for 6 weeks only)
Wednesday: Trinity 8-3:55; Work @ AF
Thursday: Work @ JC 8-12; 4-8
Friday: Trinity 8-2:20; Work @ AF?
Saturday: Work @ JC 630-2
Sunday: Day off. Glorious.

Classes I am now taking: British Poetry, Narrative in Fiction, Theology, Intro to Communications, Chemistry, & Piano.

I took my mom to JJC yesterday to take the compass test, which is the placement test required for all students. She scored really well in english & reading, really poorly in math. As in, I will be tutoring my mother in algebra. Today I signed her up for a speech class on Tuesdays at the north campus. It's a bit late to register (classes start Monday), so she's lucky I found her that one! I'm still going to try to convince her to take piano with me though--she loved piano a few years ago when she took lessons! And it's a credit!
I just really hate how the counsellors mess everything up every single time. I was supposed to be done! I was supposed to have my associates! Now I have to go a whole other semester?! Not. Pleased. I'm not even sure how to clear this with financial aid now. I'm very confused. Mike's trying to tell me that it could be worse & that at least piano will be a fun class & that I'll learn something useful from it. He's right, of course, and yes, they have done worse to me in the past, but it really bothers me. He's also right about the learning something useful thing, because yeah, I'd like to re-learn (I lost a lot of my musical ability a few years ago) and at the very least, remember how to read music so that I can maybe learn something else later on.

Gah. Whatever. I'll manage. I need to go email my grandma now.

What Karina just said to me, not 2 seconds ago.

Thursday
+ Took my exam, got a C. B for the class!
+ Picked up Karina/[info]queenofspades89 at the airport!!
+ Ate White Castle. Reminded why I never eat there.
+ Saw Harry Potter 6 again!! K & I took my brothers. I love that movie, so very, very much. Possibly my fave in the set.
+ Eat at Chili's. Reminded why I love Chili's
+ Chris, Crystal, & Jen invite themselves over. I managed not to kill them.

Friday
+ I turned 20! Dang, I'm old.
+ Chris, Karina, & I go downtown for the day!
+ Pick up tickets for Spring Awakening
+ Take a tour on a trolley around town
+ Free chocolate bar at the Hershey's store! I still have the majority of mine left, actually.
+ Eat dinner at Union Station -- Pizza Hut. Yummy
+ SKYDECK. THE LEDGE WAS FREAKING AMAZING. OMG.
+ Rush to the theatre, thinking we're late, only to find out we're very early. Had the time wrong.
+ Get free popcorn at Garrett's! More reasons why the tour is the greatest way to see the city.
+ Spring Awakening!! Like I told Gabs: "Very good, very inappropriate" Fabulous though. The set was gorgeous & awesome & I want my room decorated like that.
+ Drive home. Chris slept over that night.

Saturday
+ Bring Chris home
+ Head downtown with Kayla & Karina. Spend like 30 minutes going crazy, cursing Lollapalooza, & eventually finding a place to park at Soldier Field. Not the best part of the day.
+ Shedd Aquarium. We got to feel all special because we're members. OTTERS! The otters were real cute. The beluga whales were kinda cool too.
+ Walk to Navy Pier. Not exactly close, but do-able
+ Spend some time on the Pier, get shakes at McDonald's (and why is it that prices are always higher on the Pier?)
+ Take a water taxi back to the Shedd. "Water taxis: they're like taxis on the water!" That was the ad slogan. And it was the best part of the day. So much fun! We sat at the front & got all wet. We have random video from this leg of the trip
+ "Hummus, in your tummus, it's so yummus!" - Random guy giving out free hummus
+ Go home
+ Karina & I make a deal: 2 hours of Torchwood for A Very Potter Musical. Both are freaking fantastic. "Hufflepuffs are great finders!" "Pigfarts" (and Rumbleroar) We didn't get to the other epi of Torchwood because it was very late by that point.

Sunday
+ Go to my dad's house for my birthday party
+ Spend a lot of time there watching Saving Private Ryan
+ I got to see my favorite little monster!! She's sooooo cute. I love her new haircut, it makes her look even cuter!
+ Tanya made me super delicious lasagne! She even sent me home with some :D
+ Brownies were like...not brownie-shaped? We scooped them out with spoons, but even so, they were good!
+ Cindy, Steve, Mischief, & Mayhem gave me a cute green top & scarf
+ Kris & Korrie gave me a $25 B&N gift card & a really funny card
+ All the sibs made me cards too :D
+ Go home
+ Watch the end of Sense & Sensibility with my mom. Completely miss the point.
+ Watch Doctor Who on tv! I had no idea this showed on that channel but WIN. It was the very first episode with Martha.
+ Watch episode 2 of Torchwood.
+ Write this!

Okay, there, all caught up now. On with your lives.

3 AM - Go to bed, after making sure that Mike & JimmyGordon do first, haha.
11 AM - Wake up, shower, etc.
12:30 PM - Julia comes over. We go to grocery store & get supplies for our crazy day
1:00 PM - Come back home. Begin studying. Jez eats lunch (left overs from Chili's last night)
2:30ish PM - Take a break, make brownies
3:15 PM - Brownies are done, take a picture for Jesse
3:20 PM - Resume studying
4:30 PM - Take a break, make cheerio treats (YUMMMM)
5:00 PM - Resume studying, take a picture of cheerio treats for Mike
6:00 PM - Take a break, play a few games of WiiSports, get bored because we only have one working controller, play Scrabble (Julia won), eat dinner (lasagne) while watching iCarly
7:00 PM - Resume studying.
9:45 PM - Finish studying, Julia goes home.

That's like 6.5-7 hours of studying today. My brain is completely fried. It is now fried jello. That does not even sound remotely appetizing. ((Toni says this is good because now zombies won't come after me))

And then Shell & Jessi start asking me questions about all the technicalities in Logan's Run & my brain is like I'M READY FOR THIS. I AM SO AWAKE. And it was very unexpected. But I managed to work it all out & write up a post explaining it all. This is what my brain was made for: to solve critical points in plot in a story. I was not made to be a biology major, I'm a writer, baby!

I just spent 4 hours studying with Julia for the Bio Test of Doom #3. 4 FREAKING HOURS. That is probably the longest I've ever studied for anything EVER. I admit that it helped, but stilllll. Halfway through we relocated to McDonald's to get nice cream, which turned out to be a spectacular idea. It really refueled us and the change helped a lot too. The environment kept us awake and we had a lot of fun. I'll remember the nerves at least, thanks to Dr. Mel's silly rhyme and Julia's change of the last three. "When you go to Vegus you bring lots of Accessories that are Hypoglossy!" (vegus, accessory, & hypoglossal) We seriously lost steam during the last hour, but we made it through! Hopefully there won't be a lot of questions about the parts of the eye & ear because I don't know those so well.

IN MORE AWESOME NEWS, CHECK OUT THE SWEET ICON THAT TONI MADE ME. KARINA! NOW I CAN PROPERLY PLAY THE TEMPT GAME!!!

Reason I missed my post yesterday: I was videochatting. All. Day. Long. Except for like an hour or more where I cleaned & then got sick. And then I got back on.

I went to bed at 1 last night...didn't sleep until about 3:45. Insomnia is NOT. FUN. It was pure TORTURE. In fact, I think this is one of the ways they DO torture prisoners! They keep them from sleeping. I'm sure of it. I CAN SEE WHY.

Bio test tomorrow. MAH HEAD. OW. I JUST WANNA HIT IT AGAINST A WALL OR SOMETHING. And yes, Toni, it is very full of jello right now.

Oh, and Lauren is leaving Jenny Craig to go full time at her other job. So yay! But we need someone to fill her spot, starting in August. If you know anyone in the area who is looking for a job (or you) then let me know! I vote Jenny unless she goes away to school in the fall!

*groans, goes back to studying*

Monday - First day of bio. Gonna be an all right class, but not fantastic. Fun being with Julia though!
Tuesday - More fun with Julia, more bio. Work. And then at night: tinychat insanity. OMG. It was me, Toni, Gaby, & Joe and we were chatting and then people started inviting themselves into the room and it was crazy. Some dude took off his shirt and Gaby freaked out and blocked him like immediately, it was funny. Then later some trolls got in & changed our names and it was crazy! Mike came later and the trolls were in LOVE with him. Like, they told him so. And he was super creeped out by it all, but kept giving them attention. They told him to forget about me and date them instead because I totally friendzoned him. So Mike & I were plotting against them on MSN at the same time. It was sooooo crazy. Like, it was a train wreck where you know it's so bad, but you just can't look away! I was up until about 4 in the morning with it, no lie.
Things you missed: name insanity, friendzoned, Jez sings the 5NW theme song that Joe wrote, Toni coloring, and more!

Wednesday - No school! Woke up, got Reneé, came home, went back to sleep. Woke up at noon, it was glorious. Went to pick up NEW GLASSES. Approved time card. Lunch. Work. I was at work for all of 3 hours today, what the heck? That's nothing! Friday I'm there from 11-4:30 though so that's okay I guess. I saw Matt though! I need to send him an apology for now crazy it got then and my not being able to talk to him :(
Went to Julia's house after that. We studied bio, ate dinner, studied some more, and then just hung out because I totally lost any will to study ever. She's so awesome and easy to talk to. SHE'S GONNA DO THE LEDGE WITH ME. LIKE, SHE IS EXCITED ALSO. WOOOOOT. We're taking Whit with us, whom I miss like crazy.
Toni & I are now playing with tinychat & other chat sites to try to find one for a big 5NW chat

Women's Literature -- B
Italian 111 -- A
Intro to Art -- B
First Aid -- A

I CAN'T BELIEVE I PULLED OFF THAT B IN ART. It was really close. I had a C for the longest time because she put my paper in as a 1/40 because she couldn't receive the files. I sent them like a bajillion times through iCampus AND email. She must have finally got it that last time because it changed to a 40/40 which boosted me up to a B. MY GPA WILL BE GOING UP. I WILL BE ON HONOR ROLL AGAIN. OMG YAY YAY YAY!!

Also, super proud of that A in italian :D

It's pretty cool that along with the A in first aid, I got certified in CPR/AED & first aid. That lasts 1-3 years, so that's pretty sweet!

/celebrating (Oh who am I kidding, this calls for something AWESOME)
XAVIER HIGHLY APPROVES, MKAYZ?

Today was the last day of the semester!
+ Lit - "conference" took all of 2 seconds. I got a B. I wish she could have just told me that before so I could have slept in later.
+ Sold back books, forgot I still had my art book at home, oops. Guess I'll have to go back there to sell it back unless someone wants to buy it off of me for fall
+ Ran into Gino, he didn't have the grades yet, but he seems to think based off of what everyone said, that I got an A. I sure hope so! Also, Gino's son is adorable, he's probably about the same age as Nick.
+ First aid final went very well, I expect an A on it, which means an A for the class. Hurray!

I have horrible blisters on my feet from the shoes I was wearing earlier. I didn't even wear them all that long because they were killing me. I'd take them off any chance I got...even walking around outside without any shoes. I ended up leaving during break to go to Walgreen's to buy flip flops to wear. So worth the money. I also picked up a first aid kit for my car while I was at it because it was on sale. And then I used the band-aids from it on my blisters, so it came in handy!
I cleaned the front seat of my car, is all clear now. Back still remains a mess, but it's a step in the right direction at least.

So...no grades are in, and I'm only sure of one, but I'm thinking I'm going to end up with 2 As & 2 Bs, which would be amazing.

I'm going through my old icons now & picking some to use :D

+ Italian exam went really well! No idea what the grade is though, haha. I really like this lady much much more & she recommended authors to me too :)
+ Art exam went well too, a solid B. At first I couldn't get into it & was freaking out but I got Mrs C to unlock it again for me and it turned out okay. Only downside is you can't go back & change answers, even during the test, so that kind of screwed me up.

Jez & Chris Adventures
+ Decide to go to Hollywood, but Jez decides on a whim to go to the Promenade because it's awesome & Chris has never been.
+ Go to lots of clothing stores, complain about prices
+ Go to Bass Pro Shop, where Chris has also never been. Stare at fish. Buy fudge. Try to figure out age of cute flirty fudge cashier, decide he's like 16-17 and that's unfortunate for her, haha.
+ Go to Claire's, have fire alarm go off. Everyone else stands around like "Oh, hey look, that thing is flashing and making an extremely annoying sound" and I'm like "Hey you, employee! Get everyone out of here!" and she was all "*sigh* Fine. Get out." And some ladies refused to leave, because they're bad people. Anyway, the alarm was for some other store in the same strip, but still, if the alarm goes off, you get out. Duh.
+ Skip B&N visit because Jez is getting really dehydrated, promise to come back another day.
+ Check out times at Hollywood, find out discount doesn't count towards Transformers 2, decide to come back later & pick a different movie
+ Taco Bell. Again, Jez gets flirted with, minorly. He had weird hair too. Chris & Jez plot Hilary's demise...I mean punishment. Crazy video ideas. Crazier quotes.
+ Go across street to world's best toy store, find out they're closing in a few minutes. The guy's like "well, we're closing now, but we're not going to kick you out" (he actually did say that) so I show Chris around really quick & promise to bring her back some day. More promises, haha.
+ Try to get out of store, find out we're locked in! That was funny. We got right out, it was just a thumb latch to keep anyone else from coming in. We walked out & I said "Chris, we just got locked in a toy store" and she said "Dream come true!" and we high-fived.
+ Still have time before movie, so we go to other end of the strip to ToysRUs. Play with lots of toys. The power like surged or something, or maybe they were starting to turn off some stuff, but the lights went down in the back of the store and then there was this really creepy laugh from a toy or something in the next aisle. So obviously we were the target of a C-level supervillain attack.
+ Go to Hollywood, find out pretty much everything good is sold out. Decide that instead of watching a crap movie, to just go hang out at Chris's house.
+ Go to Kohl's to use bathroom, end up staying for an hour shopping & finding amazing deals. Chris is my shopping fairy, I swear she is. She suggested that we have a big shopping trip with a few friends in the future, and we claimed each other as shopping buddies because we are each other's good luck charms. Still no skirts or capris to wear to work, but I do have two new sundresses I can wear. And two tanktops for days I don't work.
+ At Chris's house we watch YouTube, spend a LOT of time on imdb...mostly Avatar & Ned's Declassified related. We're dorks like that. And we figured out the ages for most of those people, deciding which ones we could date. And uh, I don't care that Devon is a younger than me, I love him. Double for Nathan Kress. No, make that triple. :P

Oh! And I got stuff from Chris from her trip! Well, first off, I got paid for housesitting, which was awesome! And then she also got me a very pretty completely recycled photo album which I need to decide a theme for so I can start filling it up. And then her parents got me a thank you gift which was a very pretty jade necklace that I simply adore (that Chris, my shopping fairy, picked out) and wore around all day. I even have a bracelet here somewhere that would match it perfectly. As in, they should be sold together it is so close. Win!

Oh my gosh you guys I just checked my scores & I got a 29/30 on my first aid certification test!! I thought I did really bad! I'm pretty sure I know which one I missed, because it was so badly worded that I didn't think any answer was right & guessed. But I did well! Yay me!!

When Murph asks me if I'm dedicated to the class or not, I will say yes & give these reasons
+ Almost got attacked by a brown recluse while trying to get to a 3-ring binder to use
+ Had to 3-hole punch all my papers...with a broken 1 hole puncher. My hand, it hurts.

It's weird how well Miley Cyrus works for getting me to do my homework tonight. I just realized, I don't think I've ever listened to this album all the way through before. I like it, a lot.

Is it possible to be jealous of a semi-fictional character? I'm not really, but I feel like I should be. Maybe.

Oh. Guess who I saw today. Got your guesses? Okay it was Mr Moody Guitarist. It was back to normal & I like it that way. Up until the hug, but dang that was a good hug, lol. And he was sad that this was my last week at JuCo MC, but dude, it's too late. AND you totally ranted against all this on FB so uh, yeah, dude, move on.

I'm going to be up late with all this, aren't I? I have a speaking test tomorrow! Craaaaap. At least I'm studying with Kris & Lupe all morning, well for 2.5 hours anyway. I'll be sure to get caffeine & food in me before the exam, that always helps with my italian abilities. I think it just wakes up my brain in general.

Writing Green bio & Paper Towns analysis now. I am using my own blog as a resource...creative?

That's a lot of modifiers.

+ Did my Glaspell presentation in WW and did very well. Murph loved my question about how the title of the piece affects your interpretation of it. I stumbled a teensy bit over Massachusetts, but I didn't care. My presentation on John Green's Paper Towns is on Wednesday, so I need to find some good quotes from that!

+ Today was my last day of italian! It's very sad!! I'm seriously going to miss that class. Gino's trying to get a 112 class started, but it wouldn't be until next spring at the earliest. I told him if he starts one, I will come back to take it. Seriously, I will. Lupe said if she doesn't go away, she'll do the same. In class today though Gino spent time with each of us one-on-one practicing conversation for the exam. Mine is Wednesday at 12:30. I feel loads more confident this time and I feel like I can absolutely secure an A this semestre.

+ No art class for me! Whoooo!

+ Went to get gelato with Cattaneo after school. Mmmm io amo gelato! Afterwards we walked around downtown Lockport a little, even though it was like 95° out. I'm insane like that. There's a new statue down by Public Landing of Abe Lincoln. Only it's like 3 of him...all stuck together. It looks like some freaky monster movie character. If I had had my camera, I would have taken a picture to show you all. I will next time. We also found a neat little secondhand shoppe where she bought a candle holder.

+ This whole Jon & Kate thing is so sad. Does no one care about these children?! This plan of theirs is not going to work out well. Also this plan to keep the kids in the house & have the parents switch for "stability" or whatevs, is not going to make things any easier. It'll be like your parent is here for awhile, but then they leave you. It's a bad idea. I really wish they'd try harder to get past this, but it's their life.

My review of Danielle Joseph's book Shrinking Violet is up here! I love this book, I really do. :D

(song stuck in my head)

All the good stuff is at [info]nerdsomewriters today. All the stuff about the Harry Potter exhibit & me getting my CPR/AED license (yes, I did!)

My allergies are KILLING me. I can't sleep, but I'm constantly falling asleep in class & at work & the like. My eyes hurt & itch. My entire BODY itches. I'm sneezing. I'm coughing. I'm nauseous. My airway feels really constricted and I sound freaking asthmatic. (which y'know, isn't out of the realm of possibilities). Overall I feel like crap. And because of this whole stupid housesitting thing, the earliest I can even try to get into a doctor is Monday. ARGH. I will be dead by then. Hm. Maybe I can get Cindy to let out Mugsy on Friday. I work from 11-5, so if they're open later than that, I can get in. And also I'm home Friday night, so is cool. I'll try that.

Oh, so get this: I go home today and change into my work clothes. I stop by again after work and decide to just wear my courds because I'll need them Thursday anyways & I was too lazy to change. I have a pair of jeans here at my dad's, so it wasn't a big deal. But I forgot my shoes there. I'm wearing my work shoes that are falling apart & have no ankle support. So...I'm stopping home after school tomorrow to get my shoes. Just my shoes. *fail*

I'm going to go die now. (which, btw, is how my family says "sleep")

Heh. Pun.

I don't have a ton of time to write this now. Why? Because I'm an English major, which means I have to write a whole bunch of papers and one of those papers needs to be finished tonight. This one's on early feminist literature in the 11th-17th centuries. Fun stuff, right? (Actually, the 17th century stuff is pretty interesting) But yeah, my major is not as easy as some of you think. I'm not just saying that, either. Sure, I couldn't do biochemistry like some of you, but the truth is (and please don't take offense to this) most of you biochem majors couldn't do a lot of the things required of an English major. So, we're even. Don't just assume that my major is lesser because of what you remember from high school. Uni is different.

Now, a friend of mine and I have been talking about this for awhile, and she brought up the subject of majors again tonight. She's thinking about becoming a communications major, which is my current minor. And I think she would excel greatly at this. Plus, it leaves room for some writing too. But here's the problem: neither of us really knows what we want to do, other than write. She went most of her life wanting to be a teacher, only to find out that it's not really what she wanted. I went through phases where I would want to be anything but a teacher, and nothing really stuck with me. And it's hard, not knowing these things. And it makes choosing a major even harder, and sticking to one even harder than that (case in point: moi). Things change, and sometimes you just have to keep kissing frogs before you find what you're looking for.

So, open question time: what did you want to be? What do you want to be now?

Looking at this month is bugging me. All those blank boxes. Ugh, it makes me sick. (Apparently it also makes me xick, which is how I spelled it originally)

+ Intro to WW (not Women Writers anymore, we've changed it to Wonder Women) was fun today. We went to the honors lounge (which is very hidden & exclusive) and had class there. It's just a conference room with really comfortable desk chairs. We're now going to have class there every day because Juliet & I got to make the vote. Yay us! Also: I got to geek out over Anne Bradstreet and QE1, so that was cool.
+ Lupe was late, so I sat in on Gino's 110 class. He made me introduce myself and I did a bad job because I wasn't quite awake, but all the other kids stared at me like 'whooooaaaaaaaa she's good' it was crazy. I was like "Uh...Io mi chiamo Jez. Um. Io ho diciannove anni. Frequento quattro classe a JJC." It was amusing because I had a really thick (and totally accidental) accent when I said my school's name. Y'know, the only part in english. :P Lupe ended up showing up, and she sat with me for a bit, til we ran away to the cafeteria. We also tried to speak italian in a british accent and failed. But I managed an australian accent, so...half credit? At the end we were trying to speak italian in any accent other than italian (or american). We fail.
+ In First Aid we did all the infant stuff with these really freaky looking mannequins. They weren't even like the old ones that at least resemble and feel somewhat like babies. No, these were hard plastic, with unmovable limbs, had weird notches and holes, and were bluish gray. Uh...they're aliens. We're learning how to give CPR to infant aliens. Passed the skill tests for it though, so that's good I guess. I also found out I got a 94% on my written test on Tuesday over the first few chapters. Yay me!

+ Work was super slow. Like, I sat there for an hour doing nothing really. I'm glad I turned on my twitter updates again, haha. At the very end we ran out of paper. And when I say this, I mean there was no paper in the entire centre. Not good.
+ Shoe shopping after school. Found a really cute pair, but they didn't have my exact size, so I went up a size (7). I still need to find some to wear to work every day, and I think I'll go to Target or somewhere for that. I was going to after I went to Payless, but it as 9 and my art projects were due at 11...so...yeah I went home. Only now 9 seems so far away, and now it's 11. I finished my art stuff, btw. Except the chapter 3 test, which was locked. Not good. Gotta talk to my teach about that later.

I GET TO SLEEP UNTIL 11 TOMORROW. OH THANK GOD.
(also: this mash-up is amazing)
